ABOUT

In 2022 I became a first-time mom and only 5 months postpartum did we find out we are expecting baby number two in May 2023. We are overjoyed to have a growing family and hope God will bless us with more children in the future. I quit my full-time job to stay home with our son Elijah. This makes finances tight, no matter what you were starting with, and so many things we have decided upon in how we would do this "parenting" thing started from that decision, and honestly, I am glad we have done it this way!

This sparked a passion for everything baby. Learning about cloth diapers and the ins and outs of that world. Sleep coaching, Breastfeeding, Losing breastmilk and having to switch to formula, meal planning to increase milk supply or just anything my family will eat. Crocheting baby blankets, gloves, and hats that don't look like grandma's doilies (then falling in love with crocheting and wanting to make grandma's doilies), sewing baby sheets, and every craft you can think of at Hobby Lobby, learning to make mom friends, and most of all separating mom time from wife time because you all know that our husbands need our time too.

The skill I am still learning to perfect is doing the things I use to love and being a wife and mom at the same time. Hopefully, this blog will create a space where I can share my old passions and give them a space to be free.
